Q. Does Cypriot citizenship automatically make me a EU citizen?
A. Yes. When you become a citizen of Cyprus, you become a citizen of the EU and are entitled to all the rights and protections guaranteed by its legal system. You and your family may live, work or study anywhere in the EU.
Q. Do I have to pay taxes in Cyprus on income earned abroad?

A. You can sell your property after obtaining citizenship following a mandatory 3-year waiting period, as long as you maintain a residence in Cyprus worth €500,000 plus VAT.
